Our trip to France by Ian (Bournemouth client)

 

“The Port of Poole is very close to where we live so not too much travelling. Once onboard there are plenty of restaurants and bars where we purchase food and hot drinks and there are plenty of comfortable seats. Those who smoke can purchase cheaper tabacco and cigarettes.

 

When we arrive the staff have to drive on the right side of the road. A 45 minute drive and we are there! At a lovely farmhouse which has been restored as have some of the outbuildings too. Everyday we all go out for a drive into La Haye Du Puits and the surrounding area for coffees, shopping and local markets. All the architecture is very French!

 

I myself can vouch it is a wonderful holiday some of the scenery is fantastic. We`ve been to  loads of Churches and Cathedrals and old wordly Windmills etc and also seen places of past trades like weaving, copper making and cheese making. Sometimes we go to the beach, for walks and play cricket and boules, some of us go fishing too.

 

All in all it is brilliant and the food is fantastic too”
